The Migrant Education Department provides services to eligible children who move on their own or with parent (s)/guardian (s) from one district to another for qualifying agricultural or fishing work. Services may include educational services. social services, health/nutrition, family literacy, parent training, advocacy/outreach and scholarship opportunities. Recruiters who speak Spanish and Haitian-Creole make home-visits to determine eligibility.
